Modern Treasury is Now PCI DSS 4.0 Compliant

During Transfer earlier this year, we revealed that we would support an additional payment rail: card. Today, we are proud to announce that we’ve attained Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification.

Why Does PCI DSS Certification Matter?

Developed by the PCI Secure Standards Council (SSC), PCI DSS stands as the industry benchmark for financial data security—designed to ensure the secure storage, processing, and transmission of sensitive cardholder information. For any company that touches card data, PCI compliance is paramount, as it establishes a robust framework for securing financial information, ensuring the integrity of transactions, and mitigating the risk of data breaches. Adherence to PCI standards signifies our commitment to the highest levels of data security.

As a Level 1 PCI Service Provider, Modern Treasury has undergone rigorous assessments by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), affirming the efficacy of our controls. Achieving compliance means our systems were seen to be trustworthy and secure for customer cardholder data.
